Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) with expertise in Critical Care Pediatrics for a locum tenens opportunity in Dallas area. This position offers a chance to work in a high-acuity pediatric environment, providing critical and compassionate care to vulnerable patients. Schedule & Shift Structure:
Start Date:
July 7, 2025 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks Shift Options: 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM ??? 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM ??? 7:00 AM 10-hour evening shifts: 1:00 PM ??? 11:00 PM Coverage Model: 24/7/365, including rotating weekends, nights, and holidays On-call duties:
Optional, with scheduled shifts prioritized Holiday Coverage:
Includes New Year???s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Holiday shifts: 7:00 PM the evening before to 7:00 AM the day after Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill pediatric patients in a fast-paced clinical setting Participate in comprehensive patient management, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Document care using electronic health records (Epic experience preferred) Participate in team-based coverage across varied shift types
Qualifications:
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with specialization in Critical Care Pediatrics Current or eligible licensure in the state of Texas (support provided for licensing if needed) BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications highly preferred Strong interpersonal, procedural, and critical-thinking skills Commitment to compassionate and comprehensive pediatric care Additional Information:
All orientation hours are fully billable Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days Rotating schedule ensures equitable distribution of nights, weekends, and holidays among team members
