RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• On‑call responsibilities required
• Must have current Texas nursing license or compact state license
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Must have experience and be able to work in Pre‑Op, Circulating, and PACU
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care planning
• Work as part of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room technicians
• Ensure proper supplies and timeliness of surgical cases
• Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care
• Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies
• Provide comprehensive operating room nursing care according to established protocols
