Desired
Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted RN license
- Previous experience in Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) nursing
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical documentation skills
- Proficient in medication administration and monitoring
- BLS certification required (additional certifications a plus)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Hours:
- Contract position with flexible shift availability
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned medical-surgical patients
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures with accuracy and care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and standards
- Uphold infection control and patient safety protocols at all times
- Experience working in a respected healthcare facility
