Assistant Director of Nursing

We’re seeking a dedicated and reliable Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team! This leadership role plays a vital part in ensuring quality resident care, staff support, and regulatory compliance. Success in this position requires dependability, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to multitask and collaborate in a dynamic environment.

• Support floor staffing when needed.
• Contribute to MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control programs.
• Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs.
• Review and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date resident records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants to design individualized care plans.
• Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources.
• Conduct assessments and implement effective infection control measures.

• Licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Strong technical skills and proven leadership/management experience.
• Background in geriatric or long‑term care nursing.
• Embraces a restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
