Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support required
  • (RN) Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Texas or compact license required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
  • 3 years of experience in a Progressive Care unit in an acute hospital preferred
  • 1 year of leadership experience, ideally natural progression
  • Must be adaptable and willing to jump in when needed
  • Ability to cultivate a positive team and work environment
  • Ability to motivate team and provide the why, lead and inspire
  • Ability to have difficult conversation and drive performance
