LVN; Licensed Vocational Nurse

Position

Pine Grove Nursing Center in Center, TX invites Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to join our long‑term and rehabilitative care team.

As an LVN, you will participate in and direct patient care in accordance with facility clinical systems, regulatory requirements, and physician orders. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality services are delivered in a customer‑service‑friendly environment and for creating a positive resident experience by providing compassionate healthcare.

• Maintain nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of practice consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluate staffing patterns needed to meet resident needs in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physicians' orders.
• Implement and evaluate care plans.
• Identify and secure equipment supplies.
• Direct and oversee subordinates.
• Participate in duty assignments.
• Organize and coordinate subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
• Oversee and monitor the function and activities of subordinate staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and institute appropriate action, discipline, or training.
• Monitor infection control compliance.
• Investigate and document accidents and incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Current, valid LVN licensure.
• Experience in long‑term healthcare preferred.
• Management or supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
