We are looking for a dedicated RN Circulator to join our Lubbock Heart team.
What You Will Do- Assist the physician in managing diagnostic and interventional procedures and providing continuity of care.
- Observe and document physiologic monitoring data and initiate appropriate action.
- Address the psychosocial needs of the patient and family.
- Accurately and efficiently document patient data and charges on the patient record.
- Safely administer medication and IV solutions while keeping track of narcotics.
- Check patient charts for pertinent data and perform patient assessment.
- Adhere to protocols designed to reduce radiation exposure.
- Maintain inventory and medications, checking expiration dates and package integrity.
- Identify opportunities for professional growth and development.
- Assist with safe patient transport to other departments as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement processes to assess departmental efficiency.
- Additional duties as assigned:
- Review charts for accurate charges and procedures.
- Perform data entry for statistical analysis and file appropriately.
- Enter patient implant device data.
- Conduct weekly narcotic audits per protocol.
- On‑call duties:
- Notify on‑call staff.
- Respond within protocol for transport and procedure setup.
- Notify physician.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current Texas nursing license.
- BCLS and ACLS required.
- Minimum 2 years of critical‑care experience.
Full time, days.
