Registered Nurse – Mixed Cardiac/Tele & Neuro/Stroke Unit

Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus

Full‑time, 36‑hour week; 7:00 am – 7:30 pm (4–5 weekends in a 6‑week period) with rotating holiday track.

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 – $55.80, based on expertise, years of experience, and other factors.

• Provide virtual and bedside nursing care to assigned patients, including monitoring and caring for patients.
• Communicate patient care information to the bedside RN and act as a knowledge resource.
• Perform medication reconciliation, complete procedure checklists, sign off for medication/skin checks, contact families, answer patient/family questions, and provide education and discharge planning.
• Document patient interactions via EPIC.

• Required: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing and current Illinois RN license. CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of start date. Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within 6 months of start date.
• For RN Diploma holders: position start date prior to September 1 2021 (grandfathered). Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1 2021) if the highest degree is an ADN.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing; 1 year of bedside inpatient nursing experience in an acute care setting.
