Description
Please note that this position is onsite and therefore requires the ability to commute to Covenant Children’s Hospital in Lubbock, TX.
The outpatient Infusion Nurse has knowledge of oncology, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, knowledge and skills with port‑a‑caths, and all venous access devices. The Infusion Nurse applies the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinates the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings.
Required Qualifications- Nursing degree/diploma
- Texas Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider ACLS – American Heart Association within 1 year of hire
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- 2 cancer‑related CEs or OCN certification
- 1 year of nursing experience
- 1 year of oncology experience
- Chemotherapy administration experience

$36.08 - $56.02 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
