This role serves as a nursing leader within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. The leader delegates, directs, and supports licensed and ancillary team members, ensuring quality patient outcomes and demonstrating professional responsibility.

• Required:
  
  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

  Current RN license in state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred:
  Certification in clinical specialty area.

• Good organizational and time management skills; self‑directed.
• Good judgment.
• Good interpersonal skills.

• Uses the nursing process in patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources and serves as a leader and partner on the interdisciplinary team.
• Uses data and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes.
• Promotes customer satisfaction and employee morale and improves nursing practice.
• Adapts behavior to specific patient populations, respecting privacy and tailoring communication.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Exert 50–100 pounds occasionally, 25–50 pounds frequently, or 10–20 pounds constantly to move objects. Must be able to work in patient care areas and may be exposed to blood, body fluid, tissue, and hazardous medications.

Maintains compliance with the Compliance & Privacy Program and ensures reporting of unethical or safety concerns.
