Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our nursing team on a per-diem basis at our facility in Waelder, TX.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, including ASAM forms
- Provide routine nursing care at various levels of care
- Identify treatment needs and integrate findings into collaborative, measurable treatment plans
- Complete nursing documentation in accordance with facility and state requirements
- Review medication logs and assist the medical department with a variety of tasks
- Administer medications as directed by the medical provider
- Facilitate medication education for patients
- Collaborate with patients, families, and referral sources on progress updates and post-discharge planning
- Apply clinical judgment in crisis situations, including risk assessments and de-escalation
- Build rapport and trust with patients through strong interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Active LVN license in Texas
- Nursing degree/diploma from an accredited school of nursing
- Strong assessment and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication abilities
- Ability to maintain objectivity and empathy in patient interactions
- Adherence to the Healthcare Code of Ethics
- Knowledge of state and federal confidentiality regulations
