Under direct supervision, independently use the nursing process to safely, therapeutically, and efficiently care for a group of patients. Use information from a variety of sources to assess, plan, implement, identify outcomes, and evaluate a patient’s plan of care. Advocate for patients, families, and caregivers to enhance the patient experience. New graduates may perform functions within the scope of nursing practice for which they have received educational preparation and have demonstrated minimal competency.
Qualifications- Candidates must meet the criteria to sit for the NCLEX examination and become licensed in Texas.
- National Provider BLS certification from American Heart Association upon hire.
- Texas Registered Nurse License upon hire (or obtain within 75 days of receiving ATT).
- Graduate Nurse must pass NCLEX-RN within 75 days; upon passing the GN will convert into a Resident RN.
