Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Active Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Texas.
  • One year of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required or ability to obtain at hire.
Job Requirements
  • Education (Minimum): High School Diploma;
    Registered Nurse (RN) with appropriate state license or compact;
    National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX‑RN) passed; complete an accredited associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing or nursing diploma.
  • Education (Preferred): None specified.
  • Work Experience (Minimum): Experience in a clinical setting.
  • Work Experience (Preferred): Two years as an RN in acute or emergency care.
  • Licenses & Certifications (Minimum): RN with state license or compact; NCLEX‑RN; maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 3 months of hire; maintain TNCC within 6 months of hire.
  • Licenses & Certifications (Preferred): None specified.

Physical Requirements

Responsibilities may include sedentary work, occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds, light lifting up to 20 pounds, medium lifting up to 50 pounds, or heavy lifting up to 100 pounds, depending on patient needs. Adequate walking, standing, and occasional pushing or pulling may be required. Ability to work 12‑hour shifts, day or night, is required.
