We are seeking a highly motivated LVN or RN to join our rural hospital district in Canadian, Texas. Qualifications- Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Active Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Texas.
- One year of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required or ability to obtain at hire.
- Education (Minimum): High School Diploma;
Registered Nurse (RN) with appropriate state license or compact;
National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX‑RN) passed; complete an accredited associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing or nursing diploma. - Education (Preferred): None specified.
- Work Experience (Minimum): Experience in a clinical setting.
- Work Experience (Preferred): Two years as an RN in acute or emergency care.
- Licenses & Certifications (Minimum): RN with state license or compact; NCLEX‑RN; maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 3 months of hire; maintain TNCC within 6 months of hire.
- Licenses & Certifications (Preferred): None specified.
- Demonstrated computer skills appropriate for the position.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Critical thinking and ability to analyze complex situations; ability to apply policy.
- Training to adhere to medication and therapy protocols.
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Teamwork and collaboration with the health‑care team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adherence to cleaning and disinfection procedures.
- Ability to establish caring, compassionate relationships with patients and families.
- Collaboration with the health‑care team to apply evidence‑based practice.
- Expertise in handling advanced medical equipment.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call duty.
