Memorial Hermann The Woodlands now has 447 beds. This Surgical unit has 36 beds with a 1:4-6 nurse to patient ratio.

* 3x12s, 6 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule (Saturday or Sunday)
* Required to work 1 major and 1 minor holiday
* 3+ years of acute care Surgical Med/Surg nursing experience
* BSN required because of Magnet status

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing;
Bachelors of Nursing preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
• Certified in Basic Life Support
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements
