Harmony Care at Floresville is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving clinical excellence and outcomes in our Skilled Long-Term Care facility.
Responsibilities- Lead by example, providing direction and oversight to our nursing staff to ensure high-quality care to our residents
- Partner with management to plan and implement effective nursing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and excellent patient outcomes
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor care delivery, staff morale, and resident satisfaction, identifying areas for improvement and acting accordingly
- Develop and implement educational programs for staff, focusing on quality improvement and proactive problem-solving
- Mentor new employees, ensuring successful onboarding and acclimation to our facility
- Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in a skilled long-term care facility, hospital, or other related healthcare setting
- Valid, unencumbered RN or LVN State License for the state of Texas
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- CPR certification required
- Knowledge of Local, State and Federal regulations and the survey process
- Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred
