Full-Time CRNA – Long-Term Contract – Fort Cavazos, TX

Overview:
This is a civilian contractor CRNA opportunity supporting inpatient surgical and anesthesia services within a structured clinical environment. No military service required. A Texas state license is required for this role.
Practice Highlights
- Full-scope anesthesia practice (general anesthesia, regional techniques, OB epidurals, and perioperative coverage)
- Work independently within defined clinical scope
- Self-scheduling model (flexibility based on coverage requirements)
- Pager call rotation required
- Long-term contract with potential to extend
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 45–60 days
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
- Current CRNA certification (AANA / NBCRNA)
- Active, unrestricted RN license and Texas APRN licensure (or eligibility – support available)
- Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS (no online-only certifications)
- Minimum 2 years of recent CRNA experience in the last 3 years
- Competent in general anesthesia, epidural/spinal anesthesia, IV regional techniques, airway management, and perioperative evaluation/documentation
Schedule & Coverage
- Full-Time strongly preferred; local PRN candidates may be considered
- Flexible scheduling coordinated with clinical team needs
- Primary coverage in the OR with additional perioperative patient management responsibilities
- Expected to follow established clinical documentation and communication standards
Compensation & Benefits
- 1099 Independent Contractor structure
