Licensed Vocational Nurse

Methodist Health System seeks a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our Melissa unit in North Texas. Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care to adult patients under RN and provider supervision
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and document accurately in the EMRMonitor vital signs, patient status, and report changes promptly to the care team
• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other clinical procedures within LVN scope
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring clear patient and family education
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team to implement care plans
• Maintain infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards in all care activities
• Accurately document care, responses, and patient education in accordance with policy
• Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures in a compassionate manner
• Participate in ongoing training, huddles, and quality improvement initiatives
