NP, Nurse Practitioner​/PA, Physician Assistant - Walk-in​/Primary Care Wimber

Overview

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Walk-In / Primary Care clinic in Wimberley, TX. This full‑time role blends walk‑in care with traditional primary care, offering the opportunity to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a community‑focused outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing both acute and routine primary care needs across a broad patient population.

• Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute, non‑emergent conditions in a walk‑in clinic setting
• Provide ongoing primary care including preventive services, chronic disease management, and routine follow‑up visits
• Perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

• Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
• Previous experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care preferred
• Strong clinical decision‑making and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in an outpatient setting
