Travel RN – PACU

Sachse, Texas

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 5:30 AM – 3:30 PM | On-site | Call required (1 Friday/Saturday/Sunday per month and 1 additional weekday per week)

• Provide direct patient care in a PACU setting with an 8-bed unit and a 1:2 patient ratio
• Perform both Phase 1 PACU and pre-operative functions as needed
• Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in care for patients undergoing orthopedic, sports/joint, general surgery, and robotic surgical procedures
• Fulfill on-call requirements as scheduled, including weekend and weekday call rotations

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Phase 1 PACU experience
• Current ACLS certification

• Pre-operative or pre-admission testing (PAT) experience
• Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative attitude

• Work alongside an experienced, tenured clinical staff in a well-equipped surgical environment
• Gain diverse procedural exposure across orthopedic, robotic, and general surgery specialties
