Work hours:

Full Time, 36 hours a week, Nights. 6:45pm - 7:15 am with rotating weekends.

Emergency Department Highlights:

• Active established UBC that collaborates with other departments

• Pathway to Excellence Designation 2024

• 50% of ED RN's participate in the Nursing Career Advancement Program

Here's What You Need

• Nursing Diploma Nursing is required Or

• Associate's Degree nursing is required Or

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing is preferred

• 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. is required

• 2 Years Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. is preferred

• 1 year Emergency department charge nurse is strongly preferred

• RN
  - Registered Nurse Upon Hire is required And

• BCLS
  - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Upon Hire is required And

• CPI
  - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days is required

• ACLS
  - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days is required And

• NRP
  - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days is required And

• PALS
  - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days is required Or

• ENPC
  - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course 6 Months is required And

• TNCC
  - Trauma Nursing Core Course 12 Months is required
