Treatment Nurse – RN/LPN/LVN

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Treatment Nurse (RN/LPN/LVN) to join our team. This position is responsible for providing prescribed treatments, maintaining resident skin integrity, completing accurate documentation, and delivering quality resident care in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and facility policies.

• Assess and monitor resident skin integrity and changes in condition.

• Complete Braden Scales upon admission, quarterly, and with significant condition changes.

• Perform and document admission, readmission, weekly, and as-needed skin assessments.

• Administer treatments as prescribed and follow infection control procedures.

• Implement and monitor care plans related to skin integrity.

• Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders.

• Complete weekly skin reports and required clinical documentation.

• Assist with infection control surveillance.

• Investigate and document accidents and incidents.

• Provide direct resident care and oversee/assign duties to nursing staff and aides as appropriate.

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, facility policies, and the Facility Code of Conduct.

• Attend required training and in-service programs.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.

• Current, valid RN, LPN, or LVN license in the state of employment.

• Wound care training preferred.

• Long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred.

• Supervisory experience a plus.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently, remain calm under pressure, and provide compassionate resident care.

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and meet the physical requirements of the position.
