Director of Nursing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team at Avir at Post in Post, TX. As a key leader in our organization, the Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the nursing department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care

  • Oversee the coordination of patient care services, including medication administration, wound care, and discharge planning

  • Foster a culture of open communication, respect, and teamwork among nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Radiology, Rehabilitation, and Social Services, to ensure seamless coordination of care

  • Recruit, retain, and develop a talented and dedicated nursing staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to improve patient outcomes

  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, and industry standards

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Minimum of [
