As a RN Supervisor at Avir at Moody, you will play a vital role in overseeing nursing operations during weekend shifts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care and compliance with regulatory standards. As a leader, you will provide guidance and support to staff, promote a positive work environment, and maintain confidentiality and integrity in all interactions.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise nursing staff and ensure proper staffing levels during weekend shifts
• Provide quality direct nursing care on units or floors assigned
• Coordinate resident care and address any clinical concerns promptly
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely
• Monitor and enforce infection control practices throughout the facility
• Provide education and training on infection prevention measures
• Conduct regular audits of hand hygiene and sanitation procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned to maintain quality standards and facility viability

Requirements:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in long-term care
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Physical, cognitive, and sensory requirements include ability to move intermittently, remain calm under stress, and function independently
• Must be able to read and write in English, lift and transfer a minimum of 50 pounds
