TPWD MISSION

To manage and conserve the natural and cultural resources of Texas and to provide hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation opportunities for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.

Cooper State Park – Doctors Creek Unit, 95 PARK ROAD 8154, Cooper, TX 75432

Under the direction of the Park Superintendent, this position performs routine (journey‑level) state park operations work and is responsible for interpretation and preservation of Cooper State Park – Doctors Creek Unit. Promotes conservation and stewardship of natural and cultural resources. Responsible for interpreting the geological setting of the park as well as providing information about park history to the public. Conducts interpretive programs, tours, hikes, and special events and promotes outreach programs with schools, libraries, scouts and other organizations.
