Experienced Small Animal Associate Veterinarian. Alamo Area Veterinary Clinic is a thriving, full-service hospital dedicated to delivering exceptional medical, surgical, and dental care for both small animals and equine patients. Our facility features a fully equipped surgical suite, digital and dental radiography, and in-house IDEXX laboratories to support high-quality care.

Location:

Castroville, TX. Cast in the heart of the area, with access to San Antonio, TX about 15 minutes away. The position offers a balance of lifestyle and clinical opportunities in a small-town setting with city access.

• Practice Type:
  Mixed Animal Practice (Only hiring Small Animal DVM)
• Average Daily Patient Volume:
  Busy, well-paced GP caseload
• Support Staff Ratio:
  Strong technician and CSR support (you’re never on your own)
• Case Mix:
  Wellness & preventive care, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, urgent care, and internal medicine
• Technology & Equipment:
  • Digital X-ray
  • In-house lab diagnostics
  • Modern surgical and monitoring equipment
• Team Culture:
  Collaborative, mentorship-driven, client-focused with an emphasis on teamwork and respect

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a Texas veterinary license (or eligibility).
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
