As a Viticultural Intern, you will work alongside the Vineyard and Production teams at our Lytton Springs Estate in Healdsburg, CA. You may occasionally be asked to travel between locations. Ideal candidates are comfortable working outdoors and have a strong commitment to upholding our farming ideals and objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and organize viticultural data relating to nutrient analysis, crop estimation, phenological progression, vine disease and health, etc.
  • Scout for grapevine diseases, pests, and any abnormalities.
  • Engage in general viticultural practices (shoot thinning, leaf removal, harvest, etc.).
  • Collect and process berry samples.
  • Facilitate collaboration with our partners including Root Applied Sciences, Fruition Sciences, Tule, Fish Friendly Farming, etc.
  • Join production team during tastings.
  • Occasional help with bottling, fruit sorting, and general cellar work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented
  • Independent worker
  • Effective communication skills and ability to maintain professional relationships across organization
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and possess a clean driving record
  • Perform work in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain
  • Ability to lift 50lbs, stand, bend, and walk on a regular basis
  • Occasionally climb ladders and catwalks
  • Maintain a regular, full‑time schedule that includes overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education in Viticulture and/or Enology or equivalent experience
  • Spanish language proficiency
  • Previous harvest experience
Compensation & Benefits
  • $23 hourly rate
