Associate Veterinarian

VCA Bering Sea Animal Hospital, located in Anchorage, Alaska, is looking for an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, dedicated team. We value mutual respect, laughter, and teamwork - regardless of rank.

The hospital is open 7am-7pm Monday-Saturday and closed on major holidays. Our doctors work four 10-hour shifts per week, with the occasional Saturday shift. Our doctors enjoy zero on‑call hours! The position we are hiring is full‑time.

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent
• Licensure in good standing to practice in Alaska state, or the ability to obtain
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics

Compensation

• Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. Salary range listed is based on a 40‑hour work week.
• This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
