We are seeking a Grounds Maintenance Technician to support the Radio Over The Horizon Radar (ROTHR) facilities located at Escondito Ranch. This is an onsite role with a set hourly rate of $16.17, plus a health & welfare benefit of $6.00 per hour.

• Perform routine cleaning of all areas of the site facilities.
• Operate and perform simple maintenance on lawn equipment as needed.
• Provide labor support to site projects and upgrades.
• Maintain the grounds of the ROTHR facilities, including cutting grass, trimming hedges, edging, pruning shrubs, planting grass, spreading fertilizer, and applying pesticides.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned and required.

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, with at least 6 months of practical grounds maintenance experience.
• Clean motor vehicle driving record to obtain authorization to drive company vehicles.
• If employed for more than 12 months, must be able to qualify as a Registered Technician for State Certified Pesticide Applicator.
• Must be U.S. citizen; subject to security investigation and eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written procedures with little supervision.

• Current Registered State Pesticide Applicator.
• Previous or current security clearance.

Hourly wage of $16.17 with an additional $6.00 per hour Health & Welfare benefit. No relocation assistance.
