Lawn Care Technician

Lawn Doctor of Kingwood - Humble is growing and is looking for dedicated Lawn Care Technicians to provide high‑quality, customer‑focused lawn care services.

Technicians serve as customer‑facing brand ambassadors, treat lawns with environmentally sensitive products, aerate lawns, perform shop work, and offer new services to customers and prospects while in the field.

$12.00 – $19.00 per hour, depending on experience. ($15.00 – $20.00 per hour for franchise locations).

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Enthusiasm for working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Positive attitude and self‑motivated
• Ability to listen and learn quickly
• Ability to operate machinery
• Can lift more than 50 pounds
• Pass a drug test and background check

• Apply fertilizers, weed control, and insect control to lawns according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions
• Identify pests, cultural problems, and use of selected products
• Drive company vehicle to customer locations
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding treatments and recommendations
• Manage daily vehicle inventory and equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation for customers, office, and the Texas Department of Agriculture
• Keep vehicle and equipment in good condition

Candidate must have a strong work ethic, a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and good attendance. Prior experience in the lawn care industry is highly desirable and will be compensated accordingly.
