Location: Glen Rose
Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose, TX offers the Prairie Grouse Conservation Internship from April to August, focusing on Attwater's Prairie Chicken breeding. Interns assist with daily feeding, habitat maintenance, diet prep, observations, and chick development under supervision.
The program provides a $400/month stipend and free on-site housing. Applicants must be 21+, available late March/early April through mid/late August, and prepared to work weekends, holidays, and in adverse weather.
