Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a full-service clinical setting providing preventative medicine, diagnostics, urgent care, surgery, and advanced treatment options. This opportunity would suit a veterinarian who enjoys developing meaningful relationships with pet owners while managing cases from routine wellness appointments through more involved medical and surgical presentations.

The position offers broad clinical exposure and the freedom to apply sound, evidence-based judgement when diagnosing and treating patients. Modern veterinary technology supports efficient case management, while the varied caseload provides plenty of scope to strengthen existing skills and pursue new clinical interests. Some exposure to large animal veterinary work may also be available for a veterinarian interested in broadening their experience.

In

this position, your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading consultations, diagnostic investigations, treatment planning, and follow-up care
  • Managing preventative, medical, surgical, and urgent small animal cases
  • Explaining clinical findings and treatment choices clearly to pet owners
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and appropriate standards of clinical documentation
  • Working closely with veterinary support colleagues to coordinate efficient patient care
Qualifications Needed:
  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited institution
  • Current Texas veterinary license or eligibility to obtain appropriate state licensure
  • Strong clinical judgement with a commitment to high-quality patient care
  • Clear and approachable communication skills with clients and colleagues
  • Interest in continued learning and developing a broad veterinary skill set
