Join Our Grooming Team at Lago Vista Animal Clinic!

Lago Vista Animal Clinic is excited to welcome an experienced Pet Groomer to our growing veterinary support team. We are a full-service practice providing comprehensive medical care alongside professional grooming services, and we take pride in serving pets and their families in our community.

Our hospital features a dedicated,state-of-the-art grooming facility where groomers have the autonomy to manage their services, build relationships with clients, and work alongside a supportive veterinary team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated groomer who enjoys working independently while being part of a collaborative hospital environment.

• Professional pet grooming experience working with a variety of dog breeds and coat types
• Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards
• Ability to safely handle pets of varying sizes and temperaments
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Grooming certification is a plus
• Portfolio and references required

• Perform full grooming services including bathing, drying, haircuts/styling, brush-outs, nail trims, de-matting, ear cleaning, and gland expression
• Evaluate each pet’s coat and skin condition and communicate grooming recommendations to pet owners
• Engage with clients to understand grooming preferences and expectations
• Safely handle pets ofvarious sizesand temperaments during grooming procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized grooming area throughout the day and at the end of each shift

• Compensation for this role is based on 50% commission on grooming services, or $10 per hour worked, whichever is greater.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday-Friday from 8am until grooming appointments are complete for the day.
