Job Description:
Our client is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a varied mixed animal practice offering care across dogs, cats, horses, livestock, and exotic hoofstock. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys clinical variety and wants exposure to preventative medicine, diagnostics, urgent cases, advanced medical work-ups, and surgical procedures while maintaining a strong focus on compassionate patient care.
The successful veterinarian will take an active role in managing cases from initial assessment through treatment and follow-up, while working alongside experienced veterinary and support colleagues. The position offers considerable scope for continued clinical development, with opportunities to broaden practical skills, pursue individual areas of interest, and build lasting relationships with animal owners.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:- Manage medical and preventative care across a diverse mixed animal caseload
- Investigate clinical presentations using appropriate diagnostic testing and treatment planning
- Perform surgical procedures and contribute to urgent patient care when required
- Guide owners through findings, treatment choices, and ongoing healthcare recommendations
