As a technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient sample analysis. You’ll prepare and test samples, maintain advanced laboratory equipment, and uphold strict safety and industry standards (e.g., ASTM, AMS). • Prepare samples (cutting, grinding, mounting, polishing) and log them for traceability.
• Conduct tests per industry standards using equipment like microscopes, ovens, and wet saws, ensuring accurate data collection.
• Maintain and clean lab equipment, adhering to safety protocols and proper waste disposal.
• Document test results and manage data in laboratory systems with precision.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline lab operations and support research initiatives.
• Communicate professionally with clients to address inquiries or report test outcomes.
• Stay current on industry standards through training, workshops, and certifications.
• Assist with audits, procurement, and other tasks as directed by supervisors.

• Must be a U.S. citizen (required).
• High school diploma or equivalent (required); laboratory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ASTM and AMS standards (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory management software.
• Certifications in lab safety, equipment operation, or testing methods (preferred).
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
