Insulation is seeking a Health Safety and Environmental /Administrative Assistant for the Diboll, Texas polyiso foam manufacturing facility.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, safety-focused, and detail-oriented Environmental, Health, Safety, Training & Plant Administration Manager to lead our facility’s environmental, health and safety programs, employee training, regulatory compliance, purchasing support, and key plant administrative functions.

This position will be responsible for maintaining a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA and applicable federal, state, provincial, and municipal regulations, managing environmental and hazardous-material programs, coordinating employee training, overseeing contractor safety, and supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated problem solver who can work independently, communicate effectively with employees at all levels, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Promote and administer company safety policies and programs with the goal of achieving zero workplace injuries and incidents
.

Maintain a safe, clean, and environmentally compliant work environment and reinforce a culture where safety is the first priority.

Administer, maintain, and continuously improve company HS&E programs, policies, procedures, and facility-specific safety initiatives.

Ensure OSHA compliance and complete required OSHA reporting, including OSHA 300/301 records and annual summaries.

Conduct workplace inspections, hazard assessments, audits, and incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

Lead internal and external incident investigations and ensure timely completion of accident and injury reporting.

Identify applicable federal, state, provincial, and municipal regulatory requirements and monitor regulatory changes that may affect operations.

Manage government inspections, environmental and safety audits, and required regulatory reporting.

Maintain safety equipment throughout the facility and ensure employees are properly trained in its use.

Manage PPE programs, including purchasing, inventory, distribution, and employee training.

Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure required SDS reporting and accessibility.

Manage emergency response, fire safety, first aid, CPR, blood borne pathogen, and other applicable safety programs.

Develop, implement, document, and maintain HS&E emergency response systems.

Maintain the facility HS&E orientation program and ensure new employees and temporary workers receive required orientation.

Coordinate with the company clinic regarding employee injuries, workers’ compensation claims, drug and alcohol testing, pre-employment physicals, and drug screens.

Coordinate required annual inspections, including hoists, slings, fire safety systems, and other safety equipment.

Maintain fall protection programs and other job-specific safety programs.

Manage contractor safety compliance in accordance with corporate requirements and facility policies.

Support the Safety Committee and facilitate safety meetings and initiatives.

Establish auditing systems to evaluate compliance with company standards, regulations, hazard analyses, safe work procedures, and environmental requirements.

Environmental & Hazardous Materials Compliance

Manage hazardous materials, hazardous waste, chemical storage, transportation, and disposal programs.
