Cello-Wrap Packaging Inc is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control – Food Safety professional to join our team in Farmersville, TX. This is your opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest safety and quality standards in the packaging industry. Responsibilities:- Monitor and enforce food safety and quality control standards throughout the production process
- Conduct routine inspections, sampling, and testing of packaging materials and finished products
- Maintain accurate documentation of QC findings, corrective actions, and compliance records
- Identify non-conformances and work with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Ensure compliance with FDA, HACCP, GMP, and other applicable food safety regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve quality systems and processes
- Conduct internal audits and assist with third-party or regulatory inspections
- Prior experience in quality control, food safety, or a related role in a manufacturing or packaging environment
- Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FDA regulations, and food safety compliance standards
- Strong attention to detail with excellent observational and analytical skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and maintain quality documentation and reports
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Comfortable working in a production/warehouse environment with varying conditions
- Food Safety or Quality Auditing certification (BRC, SQF, GFSI, ISO, or similar) is a plus
