- Own the quality and food safety programs across Hi-Pro Feeds USA locations
- Ensure products and manufacturing processes meet customer expectations, Nutreco standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements
- Coordinate quality assurance and quality control activities
- Conduct audits and inspections
- Coordinate laboratory testing programs
- Investigate quality issues
- Administer mock recalls and recalls
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Diploma or degree in Animal Science, Food Science, Agricultural Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of QA/QC or related experience
- Knowledge of livestock nutrition, food safety, feed milling, manufacturing, or agriculture is an asset
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong math skills and understanding of the metric system
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Self‑starter who can work independently and collaboratively
- Continuous improvement mindset with a willingness to learn
Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 10% between locations
Demonstrates expertise in quality assurance and food safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Nutreco standards. Proficient in conducting audits, managing quality control activities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
