Technology Quality Technician

Job Overview:
Pay Range: $30.00hr - $35.00hr Requirement/Must Have:

Experience with CMM operation (Zeiss preferred). Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. Hands-on dimensional inspection experience. Strong attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High school diploma or GED. Responsibilities:
Conduct quality control activities, including inspections, tests and results reporting. Inspect documentation, parts, components, materials, subassemblies and equipment against stated specifications, using measurement systems (including CMM) with valid calibration. Comply with applicable inspection procedures and standard work. Assist in designing tests and fixtures and their set-up. Ensure all inspection and test activities are conducted safely. Participate in creation and review of Hazard Analysis and Risk Control for these activities.

Perform calibration of measurement systems when authorized. Document the results of inspections and tests and verify stability of results over time. Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement. Perform inspections on machined metal parts, primarily tubular components under 8 inches diameter and up to 5 feet long. Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for inspections.

Conduct manual inspections. Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications. Document inspection results and communicate findings, including nonconformances. Collaborate with engineers on inspection outcomes. Nice to Have: CMM programming experience. SAP experience. Zeiss certification. Experience in oil & gas or similar manufacturing environments.
