Job Location:

Job Type: Student Worker
Approved position for students at East Texas A&M University to support Agronomy program research through sample processing, data collection, greenhouse duties, and field work.
Responsibilities- Assist with collecting field data on wheat, oat, corn, grain sorghum, soybean, and other crops.
- Collect and enter insect, grain, forage, and soil samples.
- Harvest wheat, oat, and other crop research plots and samples.
- Manage greenhouse plants, including watering and crossing.
- Prepare seed for planting.
- Plant research plots of multiple crops.
- Collaborate and communicate with supervisor.
- Must be an active student at East Texas A&M University (undergraduate or graduate).
- Basic computer skills in Word and Excel.
- Punctuality, willingness to learn new skills, and teamwork abilities.
- Capacity to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Applicants are subject to a criminal history investigation; employment is contingent upon successful completion.
