Approved position for students at East Texas A&M University to support Agronomy program research through sample processing, data collection, greenhouse duties, and field work.

• Assist with collecting field data on wheat, oat, corn, grain sorghum, soybean, and other crops.
• Collect and enter insect, grain, forage, and soil samples.
• Harvest wheat, oat, and other crop research plots and samples.
• Manage greenhouse plants, including watering and crossing.
• Prepare seed for planting.
• Plant research plots of multiple crops.
• Collaborate and communicate with supervisor.

• Must be an active student at East Texas A&M University (undergraduate or graduate).
• Basic computer skills in Word and Excel.
• Punctuality, willingness to learn new skills, and teamwork abilities.
• Capacity to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Applicants are subject to a criminal history investigation; employment is contingent upon successful completion.
