Head Chef M​/F - Menorca Experimental

Famous for introducing cocktail bar culture to Paris in 2007, Experimental redefined hospitality with innovative cocktail bars and boutique hotels across Europe and beyond. Over the years, destinations have expanded from major European capitals such as Rome, Paris, and London to more seasonal locations like Comporta, Ibiza, or Menorca in the summer, and the ski resorts of Verbier and Val d’Isère in the winter.

The group also operates venues in Porto, Venice, New York, Biarritz, and the Cotswolds. Each of our unique destinations blends design, creativity, and exceptional service, with exciting new openings on the horizon.

Reborn from the glorious remains of a 19th-century estate, with 30 hectares of land, Menorca Experimental is an agrotourism hotel that includes two restaurants based on locally sourced Mediterranean cuisine: the main farm, where we serve breakfast and dinner service, the terrace overlooking the pool where guests can enjoy a delicious lunch.

We are currently looking for a Head Chef to join our property for the 2026 season.

You will work closely with our Executive Chef in Spain and will bring your experience to support and achieve the execution of his guideline.

• Supervise the various members of the kitchen team and support them in their daily challenges.
• Ensure the smooth operational running of the different kitchen sections.
• Supervise the proper application of hygiene and safety rules and ensure they are respected on a daily basis.
• Take part in managing orders and purchases.
• Ensure compliance with food costs, maximize potential and optimize resources.
• Manage inventory and stock levels as required.
• Be proactive in making proposals and contributing to the creation of dishes when menu changes occur.

• Manage, coordinate and lead the kitchen teams.
• Take part in the recruitment of team members, as well as their training and promotion.
• Encourage individual initiatives in order to enhance professional fulfilment.
• Stabilize and retain teams through targeted and relevant actions.

• Supervise kitchen cleanliness and pay attention to potential health risks and regulatory breaches.
• Ensure that all legal health and safety requirements are up to date.

• With good leadership, organizational and management skills, you have a strong team spirit.
• You have an attention to detail and customer needs.
• You are consistent and regular in your tasks.
• You are also showing problem solving skills.
• You speak Spanish. A second language is a plus.
