Position Overview:

As a Dishwasher at Cowboy Chicken, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring the smooth operation of restaurant operations. Your attention to detail, efficiency, and commitment to cleanliness will be essential in upholding Cowboy Chicken's high standards of food safety and sanitation, contributing to the exceptional dining experience we provide to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dishwashing:
  Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment used in food preparation. Operate the dishwasher efficiently and ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Kitchen Maintenance:
  Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Regularly sweep and mop floors, clean workstations, and dispose of trash and recyclables as needed.
• Assisting Kitchen Team:
  Support the kitchen team by helping with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assisting with cooking or plating when required.
• Stocking Supplies:
  Ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked with clean dishware, utensils, and other essential items needed for food preparation and service.
• Food Safety Compliance:
  Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards, following proper procedures for handling and storing food items to prevent contamination and maintain food quality.
• Waste Disposal:
  Manage and dispose of kitchen waste and recycling properly, contributing to a clean and environmentally responsible kitchen.
• Kitchen Organization:
  Maintain the organization and cleanliness of storage areas, ensuring that supplies and equipment are stored appropriately and orderly.

  Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and efficient communication within the kitchen environment.
• Health and Safety:
  Comply with all health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
