Location: Junction
Responsibilities:
- Set up sections and prepare for the shift
- Complete side work to ensure the restaurant is ready for service
- Familiarize yourself with the menu and daily specials
- Greet guests promptly and warmly
- Present menus and assist customers in selecting food and beverages
- Take and serve orders efficiently
- Answer questions and make recommendations for complementary products
- Collaborate with fellow servers and kitchen/bar staff to ensure smooth operations
- Address complaints or issues with a positive attitude
- Issue bills and process payments accurately
- A hospitable demeanor is essential; prior restaurant experience is a bonus
- Experience handling cash and processing payments
- Strong attention to cleanliness and safety standards
- Patience and a customer-oriented mindset
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly attitude
- Responsible, trustworthy, and dependable
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
- Knowledge of craft beer is a plus, but a willingness to learn is key
- Familiarity with Toast or similar POS systems is an advantage
