Position Summary The Shift Lead supports daily restaurant operations by guiding team members, ensuring consistent execution of company standards, and delivering an outstanding guest experience. This role acts as the leader on duty and works closely with management to maintain quality, service, and operational efficiency.

As a Shift Lead, you will:

Lead and support Crew Members during shifts to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Provide coaching, direction, and real-time feedback to team members

Deliver excellent guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally

Ensure product quality, accuracy, and presentation meet company standards

Monitor and enforce food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness requirements

Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and shift reporting

Delegate tasks effectively to maintain productivity during peak business periods

Support training and onboarding of new team members

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming work environment

Step into Crew Member responsibilities as needed, including food preparation and guest service

Preferred Qualifications Previous restaurant or leadership experience preferred

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Dependable, accountable, and team-oriented

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation

Pay Range: $12.00 per hour – $14.00 per hour Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, location, and business needs.

This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to perform the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:

Stand and walk for extended periods

Lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment

Work Environment This role operates in a restaurant environment with exposure to food preparation equipment, noise, and fast-paced operations. Team members are expected to follow all safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment.
