Fresh Direct Wines & Spirits extends this commitment into a boutique retail experience, offering curated selections and expert guidance to our local communities.

The Part Time Retail Associate supports day-to-day operations at our Brooklyn Navy Yard flagship store while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role is responsible for guiding customers in selecting wines and spirits, maintaining store presentation, and contributing to a collaborative, service-driven retail environment.

• Assist walk-in customers with wine and spirits selections, recommendations, and pairings
• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging customer service to both new and returning customers
• Support store operations including opening/closing procedures, deliveries, and cash handling
• Restock shelves and maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays
• Maintain the stockroom, ensuring proper organization and inventory flow
• Receive and process shipments, including lifting, carrying, and stacking cases of alcoholic beverages
• Assist with in-store tastings and product promotions, engaging customers with featured items
• Perform general store upkeep including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning common areas

• Strong interest in wine and spirits, with willingness to learn and grow knowledge
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical retail tasks
• Availability to work 3–4 shifts per week, including nights and weekends
• WSET certification or equivalent (a plus)
