The City of Lampasas is currently accepting applications for a Part‑time Golf Course Pro Shop Clerk.

Starting salary is $11.685/hour, DOQ, plus partial benefits.

• Conduct pro shop business.
• Interact with customers, including assisting with purchases.
• Make merchandise sales and other transactions, including receiving golf fees.
• Rent golf carts, including getting carts out and putting them up.
• Answer phones.
• Balance receipts at end of day, including preparing and delivering daily transaction reports.
• Set tee times.
• Maintain and clean pro shop facilities, including cleaning restrooms and emptying trash containers.

• Knowledge of computers; golf course merchandise and equipment; the game of golf and tournaments; and department policies and procedures.
• Skill to understand and follow instructions; perform basic mathematical calculations; interpret policies and procedures; communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; and maintain effective working relationships with co‑workers and customers.

• High School Diploma or GED;
• or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• Valid Texas Driver's License.
