Part-time Golf Course Pro Shop Clerk

The City of Lampasas is currently accepting applications for a Part‑time Golf Course Pro Shop Clerk.

Starting salary is $11.685/hour, DOQ, plus partial benefits.

• Conducts pro shop business;
• Interacts with customers, including assisting with purchases;
• Makes merchandise sales and other transactions, including receiving golf fees;
• Rents golf carts, including getting out and putting up carts;
• Answers phones;
• Balances receipts at end of day, including preparing and delivering report of daily transactions;
• Sets tee times; and
• Maintains and cleans pro shop facilities, including cleaning restrooms and emptying trash containers;

Knowledge of: computers; golf course merchandise and equipment; game of golf and tournaments; and department policies and procedures.

Skill/Ability to: understand and follow instructions; perform basic mathematical calculations; interpret policies and procedures; communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; and maintain effective working relationships with co‑workers and customers.

• High School Diploma or GED;
• or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• Valid Texas Drivers’ License

Applicants must be able to pass a physical and drug screen, and background check.
