The Merchandising Analyst performs diverse tasks in the Merchandising department. Responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of new item paperwork for the category team and managing the new item setup process. The Merchandising Analyst must be highly organized and skilled in cross-functional work, as they will work to provide project management support for numerous critical merchandising planning processes. This role supports a passionate team of food experts.

The ideal candidate has an interest in learning about merchandising, including product sourcing and selection, eCommerce site selling strategies, and the grocery supply chain.

• Performs varied administrative duties for their assigned function within Fresh Merchandising
• Manages item submissionpaperworkaccuracy forcategory team, and provide to them for timeline entry into pricing system
• Inputs new data intoforms, and works with Master Data team tofacilitatenew itemsetup and any needed product Master Data changes
• Processes changes to data required and maintains log of actions related to change
• Maintains department records and files
• As necessary,supports cross-functional projects such as promotional execution, holiday planning, eCommerce content planning, and other Merchandising initiatives
• Corrects inaccurate data andmaintainsdocumentation of action or communication related to correction
• Assists with the validation of vendorsubmitteddeals

• Analytically-minded with strong organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and exceptional follow-through
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel
• 1 year of experience in retail, eCommerce, or related industry
• Scope: works successfully within functional team
• Autonomy: receives detailed direction on new tasks.
