Overview

Trane Technologies invites you to join our Commercial HVAC team as a Services Account Manager for Water Treatment. In this role, you will drive water treatment sales, build long‑term relationships with building owners, and help create resilient, sustainable buildings.

Location and Travel

Flexible across major Texas metro areas (DFW, Lubbock, Austin, Corpus Christi, San Antonio). Expected travel: 75% statewide.

Responsibilities
  • Target and identify new business opportunities.
  • Facilitate discovery and qualify opportunities early in the buying and selling process.
  • Adopt a consultative selling approach to grow existing account relationships and pursue new business.
  • Act as a facilitator to help the customer make informed decisions, including developing business cases, financial proformas, and validating outcomes.
  • Gather and validate preliminary data, perform facility walkthroughs, review construction plans, and meet other requirements.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients, communicate their needs, and propose solutions that deliver value.
  • Seek development opportunities, stay knowledgeable about products, services, competitors, and technologies relevant to customers.
  • Navigate challenging conversations, adapt to market changes, and manage conflicts while maintaining service quality.
  • Initiate new business leads within current clients to grow accounts.
  • Schedule sales calls, manage activities and capacity to hit short‑ and long‑term targets.
  • Prioritize workload and resources, allocating effort based on the sales cycle and client timelines.
  • Resolve problems creatively, create persuasive business cases, and implement solutions that benefit customers and the company.
  • Work with sales teams to understand customer requirements and support the sale of company products.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree; candidates without a 4‑year degree are encouraged to apply.
  • 3+ years of solution‑sales experience with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Desire to understand our business and passion for connecting customers with service offerings that drive efficiency and sustainability.
  • Ability to engage multiple stakeholders, influencers, and key decision makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate and qualify leads, facilitate customer conversations, close new business, and grow existing relationships.
  • Strong financial and business acumen and self‑starter mindset.
  • Available for statewide travel in Texas. Valid driver’s license with a clean record (no major or frequent traffic violations in the past 3 years).
Compensation

Annual base salary range: $78,400.00 – $. Incentive‑eligible:
