As a Sales Manager Domestic, you're not just driving group business from key national accounts – you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Lead daily sales office operations:
Direct the on-property sales function to ensure seamless execution of sales activities and alignment with hotel goals - Drive national group sales strategy:
Serve as the primary hotel representative for national clients, focusing on association business and large-scale meetings - Generate and convert business opportunities:
Respond to inquiries, qualify leads, initiate outreach, conduct site visits, entertain clients, and convert prospects into confirmed business - Manage the full sales cycle:
Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, determine rates, and ensure seamless handoff to internal teams for service delivery - Develop data-informed sales strategies:
Create and adjust sales plans to meet or exceed revenue and room night goals, using performance analysis and market trends to guide strategy - Support exceptional service delivery:
Collaborate across departments to coordinate the fulfillment of contracted services and uphold the highest standards of client satisfaction - Cultivate a high-performing team:
Recruit new talent while driving team growth and engagement through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs
