Area Manager
Location: Paradise
This position is responsible for developing and managing the personnel and assets required to maximize machine sales, profit, and market share of an assigned region in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team.” Depending on region assigned, the Regional Sales Manager may have a focus on agriculture, mining, or national accounts.
Essential Functions:

- Develops area business plans and forecasts to be incorporated into the annual corporate budget
- Develops and manages a sales budget
- Assists sales people as required to get business
- Helps develop and implement sales meetings, sales training, demonstrations, etc.
- Assists the GM in special assignments and programs
- Develops strong business relationships with customers
- Develops positive business relationships with vendor personnel
- Determines and implements proper sales coverage
- Recommends proper inventory for the models assigned by the GM
- Helps to develop the marketing plans and strategic plans of crushing sales area
- Manages and coordinates promotion and marketing plans for those models assigned
- Manages and coordinates market plans and programs
- Agg Flow/ Bruno- would be a plus
- Other duties as assigned by manager

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Direct reports include:
Sale Representatives, Demo Operator - Interviews and makes hiring decisions for direct report positions
- Trains, develops, and directs the activities of the assigned sales personnel
- Conducts annual performance reviews and obtains agreement on future goals and actions

- Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, etc.
- Medium work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 32 pounds or more
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years administrative/clerical experience
- 5+ years customer service experience
- 5+ years sales experience
- 5+ years supervisory/management experience
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must pass all required pre-employment screenings which may include but are not limited to background checks, drug/alcohol testing, fit for duty testing, and any other job-related tests/screenings
